Tax Analysts reports that Clarissa Potter (Georgetown), former acting tax legislative counsel with the Treasury Office of Tax Policy and currently a tax professor at Georgetown, will be joining the IRS soon:
Sources speculated that Potter would likely join the IRS Office of Chief Counsel, but at press time it was unclear to which IRS department Potter intends to move. Before working at Treasury, Potter served as legislative counsel for the Joint Committee on Taxation.
