
Richard L. Kaplan (Illinois) has been named a Distinguished Fellow of the Canadian Centre for Elder Law Studies. From the Illinois press release:
The Centre operates under the auspices of the British Columbia Law Institute and encourages research and scholarship in elder law as well as advancing law reform in this area. In October, he will present his paper entitled "Formalizing the Informal: Family Care Agreements in Canada and the United States" at the first Canadian Conference on Elder Law in Vancouver. This paper has also been accepted for publication as an article in the peer-reviewed Canadian Journal of Elder Law.
