IRS Launches Life Cycle of a Private Foundation

Irs_logo_135Last year, we blogged the new Life Cycle of a Public Charity feature on the IRS web site.  The IRS announced this week (IR-2005-121) that it has added a new Life Cycle of a Private Foundation feature on its web site, designed to assist charities with obtaining and maintaining tax-exempt status by providing links to forms, publications, and other resources in five areas:  Starting Out, Applying to IRS, Annual Filings, Ongoing Compliance, and Significant Events.

Paul Caron was named Duane and Kelly Roberts Dean of Pepperdine University School of Law on June 1, 2017. Dean Caron joined the Pepperdine faculty in 2013 after serving as the Dorothy and Leonard Straus Distinguished Visiting Professor of Law in the spring semesters of 2010 through 2013. He served as Associate Dean for Research and Faculty Development at Pepperdine in 2015-2017.
