Who Owns Kirby Puckett’s Ashes?

Puckett An estate brouhaha has erupted over the ownership of the ashes of Hall of Fame baseball player Kirby Puckett, who died in March at age 45.  According to this article in the Minneapolis newspaper, Puckett’s two children from his marriage to his divorced wife Tonya and his fiancée, Jodi Olson, who was living with Puckett at the time of his death, are claiming ownership of the ashes.  Puckett’s will directed that his "tangible personal property" go to his children, but was silent on the disposition of his ashes.
