The amazing Ian Best (of A Taxonomy of Legal Blogs fame) has published a law review citation study of law blogs (complementing his case citation study of law blogs). He reports that 75 law blogs have been cited in a total of 489 law review articles. I am thrilled that TaxProf Blog is the 17th most-cited law blog (out of 686 law blogs), and the most-cited tax blog:
- TaxProf Blog (Paul Caron) (cited in 5 articles)
- Mauled Again (Jim Maule) (1)
- Start Making Sense (Dan Shaviro) (1)
- Tax & Business Law Commentary (Stuart Levine) (1)
- A Taxing Blog (inactive) (Vic Fleischer) (1)
I also am delighted that #1 most-cited law blog (Sentencing Law & Policy) is part of our Law Professor Blogs Network, as is #12 (White Collar Crime Prof Blog) and two other blogs in the Top 75 (ContractsProf Blog and WorkplaceProf Blog).
