There has been a lot of press and blogospshere commentary on the recently-released 2005 financial disclosure forms filed by the Supreme Court Justices (see links below). One aspect of the forms not addressed in this commentary is the identity of the law schools that hosted visits by the Justices. Of the 24 law schools visited by a Justice, these schools hosted more than one visit:
- NYU (3)
- Georgetown (2)
- Kansas (2)
- Washington & Lee (2)
- Yale (2)
Although all 24 schools reimbursed the Justices for their travel expenses, Justices were paid honoraria on nine occasions, ranging from $2000 to $18,500. Here are the details of the 32 trips by the Justices to the 24 schools:
