From the New York Law Journal: Two firms have added tax partners to their New York offices.
Los Angeles’ Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher has recruited Romina Weiss (left) from the New York office of Atlanta’s Troutman Sanders, where she was a partner.
British firm Lovells has named to its partnership Jason Kaplan, formerly a counsel at Cahill Gordon & Reindel.
Both lawyers specialize in tax issues arising in corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions and investment fund formation.
