- February 2003: prominent New York real estate lawyer Daniel D. Tartaglia (DelBello Donnellan Weingarten Tartaglia Wise & Wiederkehr, White Plains, NY) and his wife Linda took advantage of New York State’s tax amnesty program and filed joint personal income tax returns for the years 1991 through 2000.
- Friday: New York authorities arrested Mr. & Mrs. Tartaglia for failing to file state tax returns for 2001 through 2003. The Taraglia’s allegedly owe $85,000 in state income taxes for the years in question, plus penalties and interest.
