The IRS yesterday announced (IR-2007-33) that it has selected sixteen new members to the IRS Advisory Council, joining the eleven returning members who are in their last year of a three-year term. Among the new members is George K. Yin, Edwin S. Cohen Distinguished Professor of Law & Taxation at the University of Virginia School of Law and former Chief of Staff, Joint Committee on Taxation.
