SOI Publishes 2005 Individual Income Tax Return Data

The Statistics of Income Division has released Individual Income Tax Returns, 2005:

The Statistics of Income Division has placed onto Tax Stats in both excel spreadsheets and .pdf versions statistical tabulations that will be included in Publication 1304 (Statistics of Income—2005 Individual Income Tax Returns). A .pdf version of the publication has also been placed on the website. Tables from Publication 1304 (which will be available in a printed version by the end of August 2007) present data for the number of returns filed, sources of income, exemptions, itemized deductions, and tax computations. The data in the tables are presented by size of adjusted gross income, marital status, type of tax computation, and rate at which tax was computed.
