The Senate Finance Committee today holds its third estate tax hearing this session, Outside the Box on Estate Tax Reform: Reviewing Ideas to Simplify Planning. Here are the witnesses scheduled to testify

- Roby B. Sawyers (North Carolina State University)
- Diana Aviv (President & CEO, Independent Sector, Washington, D.C.)
The hearing takes place on 10:00 a.m. in 215 Dirksen Senate Office Building. In connection with the hearing, the Joint Committee on Taxation yesterday released Taxation of Wealth Transfers Within a Family: A Discussion of Selected Areas for Possible Reform.
