I am off to San Diego for the summer to teach Tax I at the University of San Diego School of Law.  It is a wonderful city and school, and I am looking forward to renewing acquaintances with the many friends I have made in my four previous summers there.  I am especially excited at having my 16 year-old daughter and her friend join me on Thursday for a week-long vacation.  She will be leaving the nest in two short years, and I get misty just thinking about it.  I plan to play Steven Curtis Chapman’s wonderful Cinderella song several times over the next week:
