- Ed Eck, Dean of the University of Montana School of Law, to be a Member of the IRS Oversight Board
- David D. Gustafson, to be a Judge of the U.S. Tax Court
- Richard T. Morrison, Acting Assistant Attorney General (Tax Division), U.S. Department of Justice, to be a Judge of the U.S. Tax Court
- Elizabeth Crewson Paris, Tax Counsel, Senate Finance Committee, to be a Judge of the U.S. Tax Court
