Macleans has issued its second annual ranking of Canadian Law Schools, using methodology developed with Brian Leiter that uses five variables:
- Placement at Elite Law Firms (20%)
- National Placement Success (10%)
- Supreme Court Clerkship Placement (10%)
- Faculty Hiring (Graduates Hired as Law School Faculty) (10%)
- Per Capita Faculty Citation Count (50%)
According to Brian, the Top 5 Canadian Law Schools under this methodology are:
- Toronto
- McGill
- Osgoode
- British Columbia
- Victoria
