It might be useful to put together a user-friendly guide to how to claim credits for energy efficiency improvements that are contained in the current stimulus bill. Such a guide could be posted and also used by organisations that might encourage people to make such improvements.

A similar guide could be put together for the education tax credits that are part of the bill, to walk prospective students through the morass of rules.

This is not rocket science, but I would like some help in doing this, perhaps by a couple of academics who want to get a handful of their students involved in the necessary research to make sure that all the info is accurate and that we have covered all the angles.
