Using a survey of students in an American law school course, I investigated learning enhancement through the use of laptops, social networks, blogs, expert emails, and podcasts. The survey shows that students evaluate laptop use as generally enhancing their learning. Social networks, however, received mixed reviews. Expert daily emails are helpful, but not substantially so. Podcasts of classes are helpful to a limited subset of students who are unable to attend class
