Brian Leiter has posted a ranking of the Top 40 law schools by student quality, as measured by the average of the 75th and 25th percentile LSAT scores for the Fall 2008 entering class.  Interestingly, the Top 18 schools are the same as the Top 18 schools in the U.S. News rankings (with slight differences among the Top 18):
