2009-10 Moot Court Rankings

Law School Advocacy ranks 124 law school appellate advocacy programs based on their performance in competitions during the 2009-10 academic year.  From Brian Koppen:

Three Ranking Seasons, 2007-9, have elapsed since LSA was born; so here's this year's Top 10, with a brief discussion of the trends:
 
1. South Texas
2. Texas Tech
3. Loyola – Chicago
4. John Marshall – Chicago
5. California – Hastings
6. Seton Hall
7. Columbia
8. Chicago-Kent
9. WUSTL
10. Michigan State

Consistent in the Top 10 across three Ranking Seasons are South Texas (1/1/1), California Hastings (2/2/5), Loyola Chicago (8/6/3), WUSTL (5/4/9) and Chicago-Kent (3/10/8).

Programs that have played on the big board twice: Georgetown (4/3), Seton Hall (7/6), Brooklyn (7/8), Michigan State (9/10),

Charting for the first time in 2009 are Columbia and John Marshall Chicago — not to mention Texas Tech, which came up big at 2nd place.
