The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York on Monday upheld NYU's decision to deny an M.B.A. degree from Ayal Rosenthal, a CPA who previously pled guilty to insider trading charges while working for PriceWaterhouseCoopers. NYU also changed his grade in the professional responsibility course to an "F" (Mr. Rosenthal worked as a TA in the professional responsibility course). Rosenthal v.
