As our time at Pepperdine draws to a close, my wife and I hosted my Federal Estate & Gift Tax class for an end-of-the-semester dinner last night at the spectacular beach house we are living in. It was a wonderful night, filled with great food and conversation.
Our next door neighbor this week is one of my heroes, Gary Haugen, President of International Justice Mission, who is teaching a short course at Pepperdine on Human Rights and the Rule of Law in the Developing World. Gary has spoken at our Cincinnati church, which is partnering with IJM to provide aftercare for girls rescued from forced prostitution in India.
