Stephen Bainbridge (UCLA) notes that Governor Jerry Brown may want to come up with a better slogan in support of his ballot initiative — increasing California’s income tax on taxpayers earning $250,000 or more, topping out at the nation’s highest rate of 13.3% (increased from the current 10.3%) — than ‘Vote for the tax. Suck it in.’
