FBA Tax Law Student Writing Competition

FBA The Federal Bar Association Section on Taxation invites J.D. and LL.M. students to participate in the 2013 Donald C. Alexander Tax Law Writing Competition:

Any original paper concerning federal taxation between 20-50 double spaced pages is welcome. Seminar papers and articles submitted (but not yet selected for publication) to law reviews, journals, or other competitions are eligible.

Winning authors receive $2000 (first place) or $1000 (second place) and a trip to the FBA’s Annual Tax Law Conference in Washington, D.C. The winning entries may be published in the Tax Section newsletter the Report or in
The Federal Lawyer. 

The deadline is January 7, 2013. Entries may be submitted by email to Sherwin Valerio.

Paul Caron was named Duane and Kelly Roberts Dean of Pepperdine University School of Law on June 1, 2017. Dean Caron joined the Pepperdine faculty in 2013 after serving as the Dorothy and Leonard Straus Distinguished Visiting Professor of Law in the spring semesters of 2010 through 2013. He served as Associate Dean for Research and Faculty Development at Pepperdine in 2015-2017. Before coming to Pepperdine, he was Associate Dean of Faculty and Charles Hartsock Professor of Law at the University of Cincinnati College of Law.
