Texas Lawyer, Texas Bar Exam Pass Rate Soared in September, After July Cancellation:
The overall pass rate for the September 2020 Texas Bar Examination, which was given in-person, came in at 76.7%—higher than the last two Texas exams—with graduates of the University of Texas School of Law posting the highest first-time pass rate. That 76.7% overall pass rate for the September exam compares with 45.9% in February, and 68.5% in July 2019.
