We are now 25% of the way through Fall 2025 law school admissions season. The number of law school applicants reported by LSAC is up 26% compared to last year at this time:

185 of the 196 law schools are experiencing an increase in applications. Applications are up +40% or more at 74 law schools:

Applicants are up in every region, and are up the most in Northwest (+34.4%), Far West (+33.7%), and Northwest (+30.1%):

Applicants' LSAT scores are up +34.8% in the 170-180 band, +29.3% in the 160-169 band, +15.3% in the 150-159 band, and +13.2% in the 120-149 band:

Black|African American applicants are up +42.2%; Native Hawaiian|Other Pacific Islander applicants are up +40.8%; Hispanic|Latino applicants are up +31.6%; Not Indicated are up +25.1%; American Indian|Alaska Native applicants are up +24.8%; Asian applicants are up +23.9%; Caucasian|White applicants are up +22.6%; Canadian Aboriginal|Indigenous are up +18.2%; and Puerto Rican applicants are up +14.9%:

Not Indicated applicants are up +34.8%; Woman applicants are up +24.7%; Man applicants are up +24.4%; and Gender Diverse applicants are up +8.6%:

First Generation College Student applicants are up +19.5:
