The 28th Annual Critical Tax Conference will be hosted by Wisconsin Law School: 

The University of Wisconsin Law School is pleased to host the 28th Annual Critical Tax Conference in Madison, WI from Thursday, April 24 – Saturday, April 26.  We are planning on a mostly in person conference, but we can accommodate remote presentations as needed.

The conference program will begin Friday (4/25) morning and conclude on Saturday (4/26).

The University of Wisconsin will provide breakfast and lunch on Friday and Saturday and cover the cost of the conference dinner on Friday evening.

For those who arrive in time on Thursday evening, we will arrange for an informal dinner. Attendees will cover the cost of their Thursday dinner and their travel and lodging. We will provide information about a block of hotel rooms.

If you would like to attend to present either a full paper or an early stage, incubator idea, please complete the form, which will also prompt you to answer a few questions. 

The deadline for submissions is February 14, 2025. We will compile the schedule of participants by February 28, 2025 and get back to you then so that you can make any needed travel arrangements.

We are distributing this call for papers to a list of people who have attended this conference within the last, approximately, 5 years. Please do feel free to share this with others who may be interested.
