Skadden Fellowships

The Skadden Foundation has announced this year’s 34 recipients of the 2026 Skadden Fellowships. You can find the stunningly impressive group listed and described here:

https://www.skaddenfellowships.org

Harvard led the way with six students receiving Fellowships. NYU had four. Northeastern had three. Georgetown and Yale each had two. One fellowship was awarded to students from Boston College, Case Western, Colorado, Columbia, Cornell, CUNY, Denver, Emory, George Washington, Houston, Indiana, Loyola Chicago, Ohio State, Stanford, University of Chicago, University of Michigan, Univ. of Virginia.

A quick review of the projects shows no slackening of the Skadden Foundation’s commitment to funding projects aimed at helping those at the bottom of the economic ladder and those who suffer from all sorts of discrimination. Projects include one aimed at battling antisemitism and at least four designed to help veterans (both professed priorities of the new Administration in Washington). But there are 34 fellows this year as compared to 28 in 2024 and 2025, so one might conclude that very little has changed, and, I hasten to add, projects supporting veterans were part of each class in the previous two years. CONGRATS to the new Fellows, and THANKS to the Skadden Foundation for terrific work!
