Last week. I shared 26 New Year’s Resolutions for Law Teachers. This week, I offer a single and simple suggestion from one of the faculty featured in What the Best Law Teachers Do, Larry Krieger of Florida State. When we asked Professor Krieger what he does to improve himself as a law teacher, he said that he works on himself as a person. His message was that the more we try to improve ourselves as human beings, the better we are able to serve our students, focus on their needs, and get better as teachers.
Thus, my teaching suggestion for this week: use the time off to work on personal growth. Become a better version of yourself, and you will become a better law teacher.
Happy New Year!
