The University of Pittsburgh School of Law’s Legal Initiative for Fortitude & Transformation (LIFT) and Mitchell Hamline School of Law have announced that they will co-host LIFT 2026: The Resilience Conference.
Scheduled for May 21–22, 2026, the event will take place at Mitchell Hamline School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota.
This marks the second biennial Resilience Conference presented by LIFT. It serves as a convening point for legal scholars, clinicians, psychologists, educators, and student-support professionals. The primary goal of the gathering is to explore practical strategies, evidence-based interventions, and institutional approaches designed to foster sustainable resilience across both law schools and the broader legal profession.
This year’s programming intends to deepen the national conversation on advancing psychological well-being and adaptive mindsets in legal education. LIFT 2026 will highlight innovative practices, emerging research, and cross-disciplinary collaborations that support law students and professionals as they navigate the personal and professional challenges inherent to the field.
Program and registration details will be released soon. For updates, please visit lift.pitt.edu.
