As reported earlier today, LSAC has ended the ability to take the LSAT remotely in response to cheating allegations. From Law.com:
The Law School Admission Council announced Wednesday that the Law School Admission Test will move to in-center-only testing in response to concerns over widespread cheating on the exam.
Starting with the August LSAT, “we will be moving toward in-center testing for almost all U.S. and international test takers, with limited exceptions for certain medical accommodations or extreme hardship in getting to a testing center,” Susan Krinsky, executive vice president for operations and chief of staff, said in a blog post on LSAC’s website Wednesday.
The move, Krinsky explained, is to help “ensure the long-term security and integrity of the test” since “moving toward in-center testing will provide another important deterrent to anyone who tries to undermine the integrity of the test.”
