Offering something slightly out of the ordinary this week, a children’s book, Just Shine: How to be a Better You. It’s an uplifting story written by Justice Sonia Sotomayor that was inspired by her mother’s gift for making others around her glow more brightly. I had the privilege this week of hearing the Justice describe the idea using the metaphor of the moon, which soaks up the sun’s rays and then reflects them back on all of us. Thanks Justice Sotomayor for this heartwarming tale and for the light you shine on all of us through your work on the Court.
