The ABA Tax Section is accepting applications for the Loretta Collins Argrett Fellowship, due on Friday, May 15, 2026:
The American Bar Association Section of Taxation’s Loretta Collins Argrett Fellowship, seeks to create a more accessible and equitable pipeline into the Section of Taxation (“the Section”) and the tax bar. The goal of the Loretta Collins Argrett Fellowship (“the Fellowship”) is to identify, engage, and infuse qualified tax professionals with a commitment to ABA’s Goal III into the Section. The fellowship aims to create a more accessible and inclusive pathway into Section leadership and support the expansion and inclusiveness of the tax profession by creating a space and sense of belonging for those looking to become involved with the Section.
The objectives of ABA Goal III are to:
- Promote full and equal participation in the association, our profession, and the justice system by all persons.
- Eliminate bias in the legal profession and the justice system.
The Fellowship is a three-year program open to any qualified individual with a demonstrated commitment to promoting Goal III in the tax bar. The Section aspires to award up to five (5) three-year Fellowships each fiscal year.
