The Tax Section of the New York State Bar Association is inviting law students with an interest in tax who are completing their first year at law schools in New York State to apply for the “Executive Committee Fellowship,” which offers the opportunity to attend the Tax Section’s 2026 Summer Meeting in Rosslyn, Virginia. The Fellowship covers the cost of registration as well as two nights in the Hilton. Fellows are responsible for incidentals, as well as for their travel expenses.

For those who are interest in applying, please contact Kate France at kfrance@nysba.org and include your CV, as well as a statement (of no more than 250 words) explaining your interest in tax and in attending the Tax Section’s Summer Meeting and mentioning any relevant classes you have taken or any relevant experiences you have had. Applications must be received no later than May 17, 2026 to be considered.
