Upon their release, Paul Caron presented a wealth of data from the Princeton Review 2025 Law School Rankings. I wanted to focus in this post on the Princeton Review’s rankings of Most Diverse Faculties. Here is the top 10:
- University of Hawaii at Manoa – William S. Richardson School of Law
- University of Miami – School of Law
- City University of New York – CUNY School of Law
- Loyola University New Orleans – School of Law
- Florida International University – College of Law
- University of California, Davis – School of Law
- Southern University – Law Center
- University of California, Los Angeles – UCLA School of Law
- University of the District of Columbia – David A. Clarke School of Law
- University of California-Irvine – School of Law
I was pleased to see three UC law schools in the top 10. This made me wonder how law schools earned a place on this list. Geography and politics no doubt play some role in faculty recruitment. But what else comes into play? As we pursue excellence and diversity, we should always be looking for tips on how to improve.
