Eleventh Annual Texas Tax Faculty Workshop

On May 19, Baylor Law School hosted the Eleventh Annual Texas Tax Faculty Workshop:

  • Orly Mazur (SMU) presented “Policy Options to Address the Robot Threat,” on which Phyllis Taite (Oklahoma) commented.
  • Johnny Buckles (Houston) presented “Voluntary Wealth Redistribution to the Poor through Transfer Tax Reform,” on which Dennis Drapkin (SMU) commented.
  • Chris Hanna (SMU) presented “The Moneyball of Tax Reform,” on which Bruce McGovern (South Texas) commented.
  • Susie Morse (Texas) presented “Are Tariffs Taxes?”, on which Chris Robinson (Baylor) commented.

Also in attendance were Eric Reis (UNT Dallas) and Rita Julien (Houston).
