Due out this month from Yale University Press is this counterintuitive monograph from my Northeastern colleague, Beth Simone Noveck: Reboot – AI and the Race to Save Democracy. Professor Noveck makes the case that AI holds promise to strengthen democracy rather than merely standing as a threat to the enlightenment culture, which has long nourished liberal society. She’s paddling uphill, but she has a strong stroke. Check it out.
