Emory Law is Hiring in Tax

Emory is looking to hire in tax! The hiring notice is here (with basic content pasted below). In addition to contacting the hiring chair (Kay Levine at law.faculty.appointments@emory.edu) candidates can also contact tax prof Alex Zhang (who was kind enough to share the announcement with me) with questions.

Emory University School of Law seeks to fill a tenure-track position in disciplines related to tax law and policy. The position is open to both entry-level candidates and junior lateral candidates who have fewer than six years of experience in a tenure track position in a law school. Candidates must have a J.D., Ph.D., or equivalent degree, and a distinguished academic record. Candidates should have a strong track record and/or show outstanding promise in research in fields related to tax law and policy.  Candidates must be willing to teach Federal Income Tax and at least one other tax course such as Corporate Tax, Partnership Tax, or International Tax.
