I previously blogged (here, here, here, here, and here) about the fate of the venerable Glenshaw Glass Co., known to generations of tax professors, lawyers, and students as the party in the seminal Supreme Court case on the definition of income (348 U.S. 426 (1955)). Glenshaw Glass is featured in our Tax Stories book as one of the ten most important individual income tax cases. According to local press reports, the company has been resurrected as a niche vodka distillery. (Thanks to Myron Grauer (Capital) for the tip.)
