Michael J. McIntyre (Wayne State) speaks today on Policy Aspects of Tax Reforms at the Conference on Tax Reforms in Developing and Transition Economies at Utrecht University:
This conference aims at tax administrators, private tax practitioners, tax law students, and others who are interested in the tax developments in developing countries and economies in transition. The conference will address the main policy issues that form the basis for major tax reforms in those countries. Tax reforms usually occur at both legislative and administrative levels. The conference will focus on practical experiences of the speakers from countries all around the world (e.g., Vietnam, Egypt, Kuwait, Uganda, Tanzania, Romania, Slovenia, Latvia, and Estonia).
