Cincinnati Seeks To Hire A Tenured Or Tenure-Track Tax Prof

University of Cincinnati College of Law Job Search:

The University of Cincinnati College of Law invites applications from entry-level and lateral candidates for a full-time, open rank tenure-track or tenured faculty position in tax law with an expected start date of August 15, 2026.

Ideal candidates will be able to teach courses in federal income tax, corporate tax, and tax policy. Candidates must possess a J.D. or equivalent degree and excellent academic credentials and have demonstrated potential for outstanding teaching and scholarship. We are interested in applicants with a wide variety of professional and academic experiences and backgrounds.

Questions about the hiring process should be directed to Professor Bradford Mank, Chair of the Faculty Appointments Committee. To be considered, candidates must apply online via the University of Cincinnati recruitment system. Entry-level candidates who have not previously held a tenure-track position, including those who have registered with the Association of American Law Schools (AALS) Faculty Appointments Register (FAR), must complete an online application at this link. All applications require a cover letter, curriculum vitae, research agenda, writing sample, as well as teaching evaluations (if available) and contact information for three references. For full consideration, candidates are encouraged to apply by September 1, 2025, and it is recommended that you submit your materials at your earliest convenience.
